Hai Ba Trung District gives gifts to disadvantaged children during the Mid-Autumn Festival
On the evening of September 9, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Ba Trung district held a "Night of the full moon festival" and gave gifts to disadvantaged children in the area. At the beginning of the night, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Steering Committee for Child Care and Protection of the district read the Letter to the teenagers and children nationwide by President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, on the occasion of Tet. Mid-Autumn Festival in 2022. The letter reads: "This year's Mid-Autumn Festival, Uncle Ho wishes each child to have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival with their loved ones. At the program, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong, Secretary of the Hai Ba Trung District Party Committee Nguyen Van Nam presented gifts and scholarships worth 1 million VND from the City Fund for the Poor to 30 children. Children with difficult circumstances in the area, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2022. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District gave gifts worth 500,000 VND to 300 disadvantaged children in the 18 wards of the district.
