Implement Peak Month "For the Poor" 2022
On the morning of September 9, Comrade Nguyen Lan Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired a conference to launch the "For the Poor" Peak Month in 2022.
Accordingly, the campaign to support the Fund "For the Poor" and activities to support the poor will be held in the whole year of 2022. The implementation time of Peak Month "For the poor" will be from October 17th. From 2022 to November 18, 2022, with activities such as: implementing support activities to help the poor and disadvantaged people such as: Donating and supporting seed, livestock and plants , means of work, production; capital loan support; introduce vocational training, create jobs; goods consumption connection; taking care and sponsoring students with difficult circumstances, patients with serious diseases, etc. In particular, focusing on mobilizing resources to support the construction and repair of houses for poor households to achieve the goals in the Poverty Reduction Plan and other projects. Criteria for building a new countryside of the City.
In addition, meeting and praising businesses, organizations and individuals with many contributions in poverty reduction and social security; praising families with outstanding efforts to escape poverty.
The City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and grassroots to step up the mobilization of the Fund "For the Poor", creating resources to realize the goal of poverty reduction in the locality. At the same time, focus on reviewing and firmly grasping the number of needs of poor households, near-poor households, families with extremely difficult circumstances... in the area to ensure timely and right subjects; coordinate in propagating activities to support poor households; commend and reward units and individuals who are active in social security work in the locality; praising households that have made great efforts to escape poverty to encourage sustainable poverty escape.
In addition, the organization inspects the management and use of the Fund; publicize the results of mobilization and use of the Fund "For the Poor" and other resources to help the poor, so that there is no loss or negative effect in the process of fund management and use.
