Focus on dismantling and speeding up the deployment of industrial parks and industrial clusters

The briefing focused on two contents: The implementation situation and solutions to accelerate the progress of projects to develop industrial zones and clusters in the city; Strengthening fire prevention and fighting in the City.
Presenting the report of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen said: Currently, in the city, there are 10 industrial parks (IZs) that have been established and put into operation. with a total land use area of 1,347.4 ha. Industrial zones have attracted 711 active projects, including 307 investment projects foreign direct investment (FDI), registered capital of nearly 6.3 billion USD, created jobs for nearly 166 thousand workers with stable income.
In addition, the city has 03 industrial zones that have been established and are implementing investment procedures, including: Soc Son clean industrial park; Quang Minh II Industrial Park, Quang Minh town, Me Linh district (area of 160 ha); Hanoi Bio-Tech Park in Bac Tu Liem District (area of 203.66 ha). 04 IPs are carrying out procedures for licensing, including: Dong Anh Industrial Park, Dong Anh District (300ha); Bac Thuong Tin Industrial Park, Thuong Tin District (112ha); Phung Hiep Industrial Park, Thuong Tin District (174.8 ha) and Phu Nghia Expanded Industrial Park, Chuong My District.
